- Hi @Jasper Deng, Trade:, I'm not aware of any other accounts right now. This person usually uses a single purpose account and starts editing with it near immediately. In case if people were not aware of this yet: this person is a known cross wiki spammer. He sometimes creates articles on a wiki, creates an item here and links it. Also has tried repurposing other items which closely resemble his name (Rakesh Krushna Joshi). If you see this name you can block based on the duck test. I usually report these accounts to the steward immediately so action can be taken in a cross wiki manner. Range blocks seems to be useless for him, as his assigned IPv6 address blocks seem to vary from within 2409:4042::/36 (2409:4042:700:3796:329:1972:8684:D068 (talk • contribs • deleted contribs • logs • filter log • block user • block log • SUL (for IP: GUC)) was his latest) from Reliance Jio, a relative big ISP in India. - @Jasper Deng:, he just appeared with 2409:4042:2693:A40B:A7A9:3BB1:8D65:D651 (talk • contribs • deleted contribs • logs • filter log • block user • block log • SUL (for IP: GUC)). I blocked the /64 already, I don't know if he already created an account from this range. IP is also reported to the stewards, pending action. --Wiki13 (talk) 13:36, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Wiki13, Sotiale: I don't feel comfortable checking the account just based on that; CheckUser isn't for fishing. Find at least one other account sock and it'll be much easier to justify running a check.
