FischBot edit
FischBot (talk • contribs • new items • new lexemes • SUL • Block log • User rights log • User rights • xtools)
Operator: Pyfisch (talk • contribs • logs)
Task/s:Add authority control data, sex, country of citizenship, place of birth, place of death, (if possible) occupation, (when propertys are created) date of birth, date of death from the German Wikipedia (more maybe in future).
Function details: The Bot extracts data from Pages of the German Wikipedia and transfers it to Wikidata. Data to be transfered is listed above. I know, there are other bots, who add authority control data, but there are many pages where it should be done, and my bot will do the other things too. --Pyfisch (talk) 14:52, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Question What kind of information do you extract ? Snipre (talk) 07:06, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Answer The bot is written very flexible. I can extract informations from template params and scan categories. First the bot will add authority control data. --Pyfisch (talk) 17:48, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Question Can you please do some test edits?--CENNOXX (talk) 13:50, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Answer Because I want to use the Pywikibot-Rewrite Framework, where Wikidata write access is very new implemented, I have some problems. See User talk:Legoktm#Pywikibot rewrite - Wikidata write access?. I expect that these problems are solved in a few days. Under User:FischBot/examples/extract you can find a first, little example of how the Bot works. Authority Control Data will be transfered very similar to the VIAFbot.--Pyfisch (talk) 17:48, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
