I have been a Wikidata editor for a long time (11 months) and have made over 8500 edits. Since being promoted to an administrator 3 months ago, I have been fairly active. I've done a total of 996 deletions during my time as an administrator. The work I intend to do as a bureaucrat is closing RFAs and RFBs, and helping out with user renames. I don't have any current plans to get involved in flagging bots. I am an RFA/RFB regular and have participated in many RFXs.
I am aware that people have raised concerns about me in the past, but I hope I have addressed those concerns by now. I certainly intend to take great care not to make mistakes. Thank you, ----Jakob (talk) 18:12, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This was obviously a bad idea. Withdrawing. --Jakob (talk) 22:22, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose Thank you for volunteering at least but the things you want to do are rare or will not be a bureaucrats job and the things you don't want to do are exactly why we have bureaucrats. Plus being a Sysop from three month and having less than 1000 actions to me is also an experience concern. I'll elaborate on this oppose later but this is the basics of it. Sorry. John F. Lewis (talk) 18:19, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose I don't understand why you want this. We have no need for additional bureaucrats, and I see little relevant work with bots. Additionally, this RFB coming after a relatively recent RFA, that passed largely because it was the third try, does not inspire confidence in me, nor does the proximity to w:en:Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/King jakob c 2 (and my comments I made there stand as well). --Rschen7754 18:23, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per John F. Lewis and Rschen7754. --AmaryllisGardener (talk) 21:43, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong oppose You have been doing RfPs pretty quickly, and as I said at en:WP:Requests for adminship/King jakob c 2, you are not at all careful enough with the tools to even be an admin here in my opinion, much less a bureaucrat. In addition, some of your RfP !votes here have been questionable.--Jasper Deng (talk) 22:18, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per above--DangSunM (talk) 22:24, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

- I am personally against expanding our team any further as we already have far more bureaucrats than this project needs. For example, The Anonymouse has only made 1 single crat action (today) and that not because of inactivity on his side, but rather because of the lack of work we need to do. In case another bureaucrat passes (which I have no problem with if the community decides so), I will resign from the team to keep it compact. Vogone talk 18:19, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
