French description of P407

I´ve found multiple items of persons with language of work or name (P407), however this property is to add the language of a certain work, not for persons. Allmost all items are French speaking persons so I think the description in French is not accurate. I don´t speak French. So is there somebody who can give it a more acurate description and tell to use languages spoken, written or signed (P1412) for persons?
