This function allows to display a start list for a race. The riders must be listed in the property participant (P710) of the race element. Following qualificative must be added:
- sport number (P1618)
- ranking (P1352)
- distinctive jersey (P2912), this property is also used to determine if the rider is champion from its country.
- When the rider does not finish the race, end cause (P1534) must be used. The value can be: did not start (Q1210382), did not finish (Q1210380), over time limit (Q7113430) or disqualification (Q1229261). For the stage races, the property series ordinal (P1545) is used to enter the stage at which the rider leaves the race.
The attribution of the team is automatic. The property member of sports team (P54) of the riders is read. This property should be filled correctly! If the rider starts the race in a different team from its usual one, for instance national team, a qualificative member of sports team (P54) in the property participant (P710) must be added.
Coaches can be added with head coach (P286), the corresponding team must be indicated with of (P642).
