Help cleaning up the oeuvres of these painters!
- Pick one painter you like
- If it doesn't exist yet (redlinked): create a subpage with his/her oeuvre (you can model it after the subpage for Jan van Eyck)
- Mention in the last column of this table that you're working on it
- Improve the data for all paintings, one by one. Use its museum collection's website, if possible, as the most reliable source. A checklist may include:
- Is the image (P18) correct?
- Is the creator (P170) correct? Make it clear if the work is a copy, created by the artist's workshop, by a follower, etc...
- collection (P195) and inventory number (P217) correct?
- Is there an inception (P571)? Sometimes a creation date is mentioned on the museum's collection website, but might not be present on Wikidata yet
- Is the painting part of a series or a polyptych? If so, do both the series/polyptych and the individual parts have items, and are they correctly interrelated via part of (P361) and has part(s) (P527)?
- What does the painting depict (depicts (P180))?
- What is its genre (P136)?
- What is its art movement (P135)?
- Is the painting listed in other image databases, like RKDimages ID (P350) or BALaT object ID (P3293)? If so, add its identifiers from those databases.
