Hey, choreographer (P1809) seems to me to be production specific, therefore not so good idea to put on items about plays, while author (P50), composer (P86) and lyrics by (P676) would seem to me only a duplication of information when recorded on editions and productions (in addition to on the play's main item where it belongs). Also, production designer (P2554) in its current form is exclusively meant for audiovisual works (production designer as opposed to set designer), however that could be changed if there is a consensus. Thoughts? – Máté (talk) 14:31, 29 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

People who work on Theatrical Production edit

People who work on Theatrical Production - I propose 'production designer' is not useful - this is a film term mostly. There is a property 'scenographer' Also 'set designer' is good. Missing is 'lighting designer', 'sound designer', 'projection designer' 'AV designer' These people contribute to the original artistic output of theatre productions - should be on template? Puppeteer theater edit

  Notified participants of WikiProject Theatre

I try to modelize a few puppets and their plays, but I can't seam to find a way to tell who is manipulating the puppet in a show. Is there a qualifier for characters (P674) ? Also, in the wikidata element for the show, I'd like to say who were the puppeteers. What property can I use for that? Regards, Antoine2711 (talk) 04:08, 16 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

I think you could propose to create a specific property, but maybe at the moment we could use cast member (P161) with the qualifier character role (P453) and subject has role (P2868) (to specify that is a puppeteer). What do you think about? LiaFla (talk) 20:38, 14 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
