New numeric ids?

@Danmichaelo: There seems to be a new layout at INSPIRE; these old ID's and formatter URL's work, but they redirect to a new page, for example 1008441 for Fabiola.Gianotti.1 - the latter is still listed but on the page it looks like it's used as a search tool? Should we be recording these new numeric id's, are the old string ones going away? @Lymantria: as creator also. ArthurPSmith (talk) 18:13, 3 April 2020 (UTC)

@Lymantria: Not knowing this I've just linked a numerical ID, which doesn't resolve at https://inspirehep.net/author/profile/1004026.--Jackie Bensberg (talk) 12:10, 28 March 2023 (UTC)

@Jackie Bensberg: I see, the numerical ID requires a different URL formatter. It might be better to either create a new property to get to numerical values, or (I prefer) to replace all "old" ID's into numerical ones. But that is quite an operation. Lymantria (talk) 19:26, 28 March 2023 (UTC)

Other entries than persons

Hi,

There's other entries on INSPIRE-HEP than the one about humans (example : https://inspirehep.net/experiments/1608532 ). Can we adapt this entry to add these other entries or we must create a new property for that ? Simon Villeneuve (talk) 15:04, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
