"List of qualifier"-query in property documentation template (see top right corner of property talk pages) edit

The query used to time-out on some of the frequently used properties. For properties with many uses it now offers a query that checks only the first 0.5 - 1 million statements. --- Jura 12:22, 27 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

use of "novalue" edit

For place of birth (P19) and place of death (P20), some qualifiers are used, but many aren't that frequent and some frequent ones aren't currently recommended AFAIK (e.g. country (P17) or located in the administrative territorial entity (P131) which should be on the item used as value, not as a qualifier -- some old bot story).

Accordingly, I set P8379 to novalue. --- Jura 12:22, 27 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

value for date of birth (P569) edit

instance of (P31) seems to be the most frequently used, due to a bot tagging them with it.

  • instance of (P31) is not a property that should be used as a qualifier.
  • Even if the bot hadn't used P31 I don't think the "most frequent" one would be useful for manual editing.

Accordingly, I set this property to sourcing circumstances (P1480) which is occasionally useful. --- Jura 12:22, 27 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

How many values? sample: spouse (P26) edit

Current situation:

Uses of P26 236,968
start time (P580) 34717
end time (P582) 21332
place of marriage (P2842) 2736
end cause (P1534) 1902
series ordinal (P1545) 727

I hestitated between adding start time (P580) or the first three of the above. --- Jura 12:43, 27 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Duplicate required qualifier constraint (Q21510856)? edit

Should these be copied or not? I skipped them for now --- Jura 12:43, 27 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Update qualifier suggestor to use this? edit

Currently, the suggester works with the property constraints (see Help:Property constraints portal/Entity suggestions from constraint definitions.

Should this be updated to this property? --- Jura 12:43, 27 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
