World Heritage edit

Hi,

This item has several claims about its protection as World Heritage :

(and maybe others)

I think we should split this item in twho and move these claims on a specific item named Provins, Town of Medieval Fairs. I will avoid confusion as this item is about the commune of France (Q484170) and not the whole commune is protected as World Heritage (they have different area (P2046) for instance).

@Docu, D2-bot, Fralambert, NavinoEvans: you added these claims (maybe only automatically after the first edit by the bot), what do you think ?

I think that spliting the World heritage site from the city is a good idea. I actually done it with Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve (Q862157) and heritage site of Mingan Archipelago (Q27956676), and I was thinking to do the same with Lunenburg (Q105441). --Fralambert (talk) 13:26, 22 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
@VIGNERON: Yes I completely agree. I was actually planning on returning to this issue at some point to look at creating a separate item for all of the World Heritage Sites - There are a lot of examples where this same confusion will occur. Let's start with this and try and look at changing the rest on mass at some point if it's something the community will be happy with. NavinoEvans (talk) 14:13, 23 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Fralambert, NavinoEvans: I've start a stub-item: Provins, Town of Medieval Fairs (Q28827968). I'm not used to World Heritage item, please check and correct it if needed. Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 14:54, 23 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Fralambert, VIGNERON: All looks great, I just added the UNESCO page as a reference for the heritage designation (P1435) and World Heritage criteria (P2614) statements. Cheers! NavinoEvans (talk) 13:01, 24 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
@NavinoEvans, Fralambert: ooups, bad omission indeed, thank for the correction. I'll do the same for Neuf-Brisach (Q150039) and Saint-Savin (Q738657) (where the distinction is even more obvious) and no more instance of (P31) = commune of France (Q484170) will have World Heritage criteria (P2614) or World Heritage Site ID (P757) (some will still have heritage designation (P1435) but this is a little bit different as the commune of France (Q484170) itself can be enlisted). Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 13:14, 24 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
@NavinoEvans, VIGNERON: I also created Old Town Lunenburg (Q28833066), who was the only Canadian site in this case. --Fralambert (talk) 13:37, 24 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
@NavinoEvans, Fralambert:   Done solved for these ones, thanks for your help. Now, could one of you start a discussion one the more broad page Wikidata:WikiProject Built heritage? Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 12:06, 25 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

@NavinoEvans, Fralambert: Many thanks! New discussion started here NavinoEvans (talk) 16:04, 25 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
