Suspicious URLEdit

What is P973 described at URL supposed to be, apart from the obvious insecure spam ? – 08:29, 13 December 2018 (UTC)

Escalated to Property talk:P973#No relevant authority control. – 02:15, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
Added on the project chat. – 12:57, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
  by ChristianKl, thanks. – 18:11, 22 December 2018 (UTC)

Removed "mass" per the Project:Living people policy: "mass" is listed as potential privacy issue, and old "references" based on a photo of her driver license vintage 2006 are hilarious. – 02:37, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

@Vlad2000Plus: Undiscussed reinsertion of mass (P2067) removed, cf. Living people policy. – 15:41, 8 December 2019 (UTC)
@Зайва Игорь Леонидович: Oddly the policy is not yet translated to Russian, but Ukrainian exists. – 08:05, 6 February 2020 (UTC)

Hm, yes, you're right. However, the fields in the cards are visible to everyone and highlighted in the absence, and become possible to import automatically by clicking on them, even if data import is not desirable. It is necessary to somehow deactivate the fields in the Russian version. Sorry, if I didn’t write correctly, I do not know English well. Зайва Игорь Леонидович (talk) 08:17, 6 February 2020 (UTC)

Good question, I forwarded it to WD:Project chat#Technical problem with the Living People policy, let some bots fight it out can't be as it should be. 09:55, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
If nothing else happens on the project chat before it's archived the current consensus with me in the rough looks like mass (P2067) as people's weight is okay with a reliable source and point in time (Q186408) qualifier. – 11:06, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
Twice as nothing happened. – 07:10, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
  • You can enable data export blocking so that it appears only in the card (infobox) of a particular Wiki, for example, like this for bot: {{noexport|50kg}}. I do not know where and how to write to programmers. --Зайва Игорь Леонидович (talk) 14:57, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

I translated into Russian. Зайва Игорь Леонидович (talk) 05:00, 12 April 2020 (UTC)

Award qualifiersEdit

As source for miscellaneous awards I used dewiki and summarized various AVN + XRCO awards with start + end year qualifiers instead of a point in time qualifier. Presumably that's not as it should be, because it reduces the chance to find a good reference. – 09:47, 13 December 2018 (UTC)

Meanwhile updated based on Q17097460 for w:en:List of awards and nominations received by Sasha Grey. XRCO 2008..2011 turned out to be 2007..2010, 2011 was only a nomination. – 07:39, 22 December 2018 (UTC)

English descriptionEdit

Rough consensus on enwiki copied as is, cf. Project:SHORTDESC on enwiki. No idea why they plan to overrule wikidata locally, maybe there will be a maintenance category later for mismatches. – 13:56, 4 January 2019 (UTC)

@Nvrandow: Media legend moved to c:File:Sasha_Grey_2010.jpg#Summary, somehow the local Ukrainian legend showed up for everybody including me, that can't be as it should be, let some bot get it right based on the Commons meta data. – 09:23, 14 January 2019 (UTC)

Various instruments added by in November 2017 didn't survive, I'm challenging (=remove) the remaining guitar on probation. – 13:39, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

Democratic PartyEdit

@Ghuron: Maybe they assume "voted for Sanders 2016" => "party member", AFAIK that's not necessarily so, therefore I removed it. – 14:21, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Six months later, meanwhile I'm almost sure, Sanders himself is also no "party member", he's an independent "caucusing with Democrats". – 13:46, 3 January 2020 (UTC)

Spurious Sacha and Sascha removed: Yes, KMFDM's Sascha inspired Sasha, but this spelling was not used for/by her, also not on dewiki. Trademark Sasha Grey as of 2017 added as a reference,[1] because it doesn't fit on enwiki. – 07:19, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
