This inconsistency should be resolved. But in which direction? Should these currencies be instances or subclasses of pound?

- I agree. My argument for this is that a single coin of pound sterling is an instance of pound sterling and also an instance of pound. Yet, this coin is not a currency itself. --Eulenspiegel1 (talk) 13:58, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
