human activity edit

Note that "serial killer" is a "human activity", not an "occupation". There are a number of important differences. An American drone operator might be said to kill people as an occupation, but most serial killers will only do it as part of their human activity – even if somewhat weird activity. Jeblad (talk) 15:29, 15 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Jeblad: I reverted your edit, changing "human activity" (Q61788060) back to "occupation" (Q12737077). Occupation (Q12737077) here refers to an activity on which time is spent or something that somebody does in his/her free time, not just the job by which somebody earns a living. In this sense, murderer (Q931260) is also instance of occupation. Many items have the statement: "occupation: serial killer". Changing "serial killer" (Q484188) from "occupation" to "human activity" caused lots of errors. --Neo-Jay (talk) 15:20, 13 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, but this is wrong. The change made it acceptable for nowiki to use the property occupation (P106), and when this is reverted I can't see the community will keep using it. The property is the single most discussed property transcuded from Wikidata, no other property are even close. I'll post a note about the revert of serial killer (Q484188) at the local Parliament, i.e. that Q484188 now will show up in P106. Jeblad (talk) 15:30, 13 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
