I am Mahir Morshed (mahir256@user/mahir256 on irc.libera.chat).
(Outside of wiki-related matters I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a research programmer for Scripps Research.)
I have been an administrator on Wikidata and the Bengali Wikisource since January 2018.
I believe that to best realize the Abstract Wikipedia, it should be possible to generate an entire text based on only Wikidata lexemes and items. To further this I add and expand syntactic and semantic information on lexemes in multiple languages (and when the ontology needs improvement I sometimes edit items). To test these efforts I develop the Ninai and Udiron tools.
I also believe that Wikidata is quite bloated; extra item labels/aliases, unnecessary manually-written descriptions, rather large time-series, excessive scientific article items, lots of inverse properties, lots of duplicate reference information on a single item ... all of these have caused Wikidata's internal size and that of the Query Service to grow enormously, such that a day will come when the Query Service will no longer work.
