Deleting items in use

@MSGJ My understanding is that there is a bot that removes links to deleted items after a short delay. Eagerly removing links makes it harder to undelete an item if an error has been made. As a result, I believe it is better to leave "broken" links when deleting. Is there a previous discussion of this issue that I should be looking at? Bovlb (talk) 20:05, 31 July 2023 (UTC)

Saleh al-Arouri

In the encyclopedia they write facts, the facts are that there is no such thing as a Palestinian state to exist, what there is is a Palestinian Authority, autonomy, that's what there is.

The description in the figure "Palestinian state" is "a state that, if established, will be designated for the Palestinians" So when it is established I will also be in favor of it being written a Palestinian state.

Fernando Acevedo (Q3545278)

Hi باسم, in the place of birth (P19) and date of death (P570) of the Fernando Acevedo (Q3545278) item, both the source in larepublica.pe newspaper and in elcomercio.pe newspaper mention the same values. In the case of larepublica.pe newspaper the value is indicated in the section "¿Quién era Fernando Acevedo? ", so I have restored the source to larepublica.pe, I have also added a Peruvian government source (Peruvian Sports Institute) where date of birth (P569) and place of birth (P19) are mentioned. Hi @باسم:, I have noticed that in these editions 1, 2 and 3 you removed again the source of the larepublica.pe newspaper that contains the affirmed value of date of birth (P569), place of birth (P19), date of death (P570) in the section "¿Quién era Fernando Acevedo?" @باسم:: I have opened the link from the newspaper's source to la republica.pe on both my cell phone and computer today from Peru, I just tried a proxy website (both from US and EU servers) and it also opens the website, the link to archive.org generated today can be seen here, and the archive.today link that I just generated can be seen here. --Ovruni (talk) 18:18, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
