Merge

I've seen some of the talk pages of the pages that you're requesting merges for; do you know if there is even an item for 1811 deaths (or the others)? I can't seem to find them with the search feature. Ajraddatz (Talk) 19:31, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

• Littledogboy: I was having problems trying to merge 2 items while using a mobile phone. I therefore posted requests on the respective items' talk-pages, rather than just wait until I'll be able to do the merge myself. Thanks anyway. -- -- -- 23:24, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

Merging items

For merging items, you may want to use the merge.js gadget from help page about merging. It has an option "Request deletion for extra items on RfD" to automatically place a request to delete the emptied page. This way of nominating makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

Babel

Requesting items for deletion

Hi! When you request items for deletion, could you please send them to WD:RfD using the DeletionRequest gadget? In my opinion, the RfD page is faster and easier than the {{Delete}} template. Thanks, The Anonymouse (talk) 07:16, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

Regarding your question, i've double chequed the request that merged the items Living in the Material World (song)@en.wikipedia with Living in the Material World (canción)@es.wikipedia and yes, they are about the same topic!. family names and disambiguation pages

Hi! I'm not sure what you are trying to do, but disambiguation pages and family names are two different things that should be kept separated on Wikidata. עברית: כתבת Mandy שהוא תעתיק של מאנדי בפת"ח תחת המ"ם בעוד ששמו האמיתי הוא מענדי (Mendy) בסגו"ל תחת המ"ם. איני יודע איך לשנות את השם הפרטי מ-Mandy ל-Mendy. לכן בטלתי את עריכתך כדי שהשם הפרטי יהיה ריק, כי מוטב שיישאר ריק משיופיע שם שגוי. אם אתה יודע איך להוסיף את השם הפרטי Mendy (כדרך שעשית כשהוספת את השם השגוי Mandy), תוכל בבקשה להוסיפו. בברכה,
