--H4stings (talk) 11:59, 25 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Fred Dawes Q20730869 edit

Hello, the Beckenham Town club (Beckenham Town F.C.) (Q4878651) which you have included on Dawes page is not the same club as Dawes played for. In fact it was not formed until 1971 when Dawes would have 60 years of age. He played for the earlier club in the 1950s. The earlier club does not have its own en.wiki page nor a wikidata item as far as I can tell. Thanks. (I have restored the earlier version). Eagleash (talk) 13:19, 2 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks. B0ttle is currently importing data from English Wikipedia infoboxes. Si values are incorrect, it is careful to correct also on Wikipedia, to avoid future import of the same error. --H4stings (talk) 14:43, 2 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Edit : I saw that the link was hidden in a comment (so it was not very useful...). I removed the brackets. --H4stings (talk) 14:47, 2 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
The link within the hidden comment was just a 'typo'. The info is correct on Dawes page on en:wiki and is also included in the body of the article. The infobox said (& says) 'Beckenham Town' in plain text so not linked and not 'Beckenham Town F.C.' which would have had a wikilink (as in the body). I am unaware of any other pages on en:wiki where a similar situation could arise. Thanks. Eagleash (talk) 01:02, 3 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
No problem, it was my (robot) fault: the robot uses the first link it finds for each parameter of the infobox. But I did not programme it to understand any comments. That is why it took the wrong link, in the commentary, for a good one. --H4stings (talk) 07:51, 3 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Status edit

Why has your Bot stopped? Some former german national players are still without the respective property. 129.13.72.198 10:53, 23 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thanks for your attention. Do you have some examples ? The list of players I prepared with Petscan has been completed, but the script did not work in the article where the infobox use Team-Station template. I have to write and launch a new script for this particular case. --H4stings (talk) 13:09, 23 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
E.g. Gerhard Marotzke and Willi Marquardt are missing, in total I guess 80 East Germany players are without the respective national team item. As far as I can tell, the West Germany players are complete. 92.74.23.214 20:50, 23 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Data is extracted from the infoboxes and these two players does not have any one in their German articles. But I have to check why their Italian infoboxes have not been imported. --H4stings (talk) 07:56, 24 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Porte-drapeau edit

Bonjour. Thierry Caro (talk) 09:21, 14 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
