Creating properties
editHi!
It seems that you have tried to create a property "Museum of Family History ID" at Q76180245. In Wikidata we have a distinction between items and properties, and what you created is an item, so you will not be able to use it as a property as you probably expected. To get this created as a property, you need to propose it: see Wikidata:Property_proposal. If you need any help with that process, let me know by leaving a message on my talk page.
Keep up the good work! − Pintoch (talk) 10:48, 24 November 2019 (UTC)

Uri Segal
editHi! I see that you merged Israeli musical conductor Uri Segal (Q1978130) with Israeli actor Uri Segal (Q83888900). Could you please explain why you believe these are the same person? Thanks, Bovlb (talk) 14:42, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
I am fairly new to Wikidata. Can this action be reversed so that there are again two separate entities for these two different people
editI am responding to your query about why I merged. I now disagree with my action based on some new information that I acquired. I am fairly new to Wikidata. Can this action be reversed so that there are again two separate entities for these two different people Uri Segal (Q1978130) with Israeli actor Uri Segal (Q83888900)
- Done I have unmerged them for you. You could have done this yourself by looking in the history of the two items, and clicking on an approriate "restore" link. The hard part is that it is a little tricky to get the history of an item that has been redirected. You have to notice that you have been redirected, and follow the "Redirected from" link back to the original. Cheers, Bovlb (talk) 17:13, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
Thanks. I love this about Wikidata-- folks helping folks.
