Creating conflation items edit

Hello, referring to your comments on Wikidata:Project chat/Archive/2020/04#Conflation Of. Creating conflation items isn't a good idea. Theses items doesn’t refer to a clear case of Wikidata:Notability. Since VIAF is a cluster these items would change every few months. If the error is made by a single authority file the ID should be marked as conflation (Q14946528) + retrieved (date). Items like the following should therefore be deleted:

  • Q86902205: Michael Roberts, conflation of 1. jockey 2. journalist
  • Q87567440: Todd Gray, conflation of 1. historian 2. chef
  • Q87066628: Elspeth Graham, conflation of 1. chidren's writer 2. literary scholar 3. social scientist
  • For more cases see Wikidata:Lists/conflations.

@Kolja21: If you would like an item to be deleted, please make a request at Wikidata:Requests for deletions.--DrGavinR (talk) 20:04, 15 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
No sorry, you did the mess and you have to do the clean up. --Kolja21 (talk) 20:56, 15 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
