Wikidata mistakes

Hello, I am sorry about the mistakes I made for stations in the Peloponnese, but this was caused by these entries not being described as former stations of the Piraeus-Patras railway. Next time, please include the fact that they were former stations in the descriptions. Side note, I am female. Further explanations will be at Topic:X7qk3nhgj59rdg33. Athens Metro station descriptions

I am writing to recommend that the simple description for Athens Metro stations should not include location information, because the station names are all unique: location information should covered by located in the administrative territorial entity (P131) and coordinate location (P625).

The precedents for this recommendation are the simple descriptions for London Underground, New York City Subway, and Paris Métro stations, such as Highbury & Islington station (Q800922), Ditmas Avenue station (Q2615206) and Châtelet (Q601484). --Minoa (talk) 22:40, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

OSM Δημοτικες Ενοτητες (και Κοινοτητες) και geodata.gov

Καλησπέρα, μετα απο καιρο ξαναμπλεχτηκα με wikipedia, wikidata και openstreetmap Χτες "εφτιαξα" 2-3 Δημοτικες Ενοτητες στο Δημο Νοτιου Πηλιου (ειχε μονο το Τρικερι, ΔΕ Σηπιαδας) αλλα εβρισκα χαρτη με τα ορια στο geodata με υποβαθρο τα bing maps ,ετσι ωστε να εχω καλο σημειο αναφορας για την καλυτερη "αντιγραφη" των οριων στο ΟSM/JOSM. Σημερα δεν μπορω να βρω υποβαθρο. Εκτος αν παιζει ρολο οτι ειμαι σε διαφορετικο PC. Προσεξα οτι εχεις ασχοληθει κι εσυ αρκετα με δημιουργια relations - οριων διοικητικων κι αν αρωτιεαι αν εχεις "ευκαιρο" αυτο που χρηιμοποιουσες ως reference (προσπαθησα geodata και εεταα θα παω και κτηματολογιο μου φαινεται) Ευχαριστώ και καλή συνέχεια Drspiros (talk) 10:15, 1 March 2023 (UTC)

Drspiros Καλησπέρα, τώρα είδα το μήνυμα σου (ήμουν εκτός λόγω ΑΣΕΠ κ.α.). Στο geodata εδώ και κανά δύο χρόνια σχεδόν, κάτι έχουν κάνει και δεν παίζει η εμφάνιση των δεδομένων καθόλου (σε μένα τουλάχιστον). Γι' αυτό κατέβασα τα shapefiles, τα έχω φορτώσει στο QGIS και με Bing υπόβαθρο, βασίζομαι από εκεί για τον σχεδιασμό των ορίων. Θέλω να ολοκληρώσω όλες τις Δ.Ε. όσο γίνεται, απλά το κάνω όποτε μου έρθει η όρεξη, γιατί έχουν πολύπλοκα όρια οι περισσότερες (ζιγκ-ζαγκ και τεράστια μήκη), οπότε είναι κάπως χρονοβόρα διαδικασία μόνο για έναν δήμο π.χ.. Κάποια στιγμή ελπίζω να γράψω άρθρο στο φόρουμ όπου εξηγώ και ποιά shapefiles χρησιμοποιώ, γιατί είναι ένα μπλέξιμο τα διοικητικά όρια. Όλα τα δεδομένα είναι της ΕΛΣΤΑΤ, αλλά έχουν καταφέρει να μπλέξουν τα μπούτια τους για τα ίδια μέρη.--Jimkats (talk) 20:24, 11 March 2023 (UTC)

Αν χρηιμοποιεις τον ID τα διοικητικα ορια ειναι δυκολα, μεγαλο μηκος ακομα και οι κοινοτητες. Relations Γενικα μονο με το JOSM μπορώ (και με τη δυνατοτητα φιλτραρισματος να κρυβει ολα τα υπολοιπα στοιχεια που δεν αφορουν τη επεξεργασια) Drspiros (talk) 08:53, 13 March 2023 (UTC)

Είμαι iD user, το JOSM ακόμη με δυσκολεύει στην βασική χρήση του. Θέλω όμως να το μάθω βασικά για relation fixes, για να βοηθήσω εν τέλει τους nicelectric και nikospag που βελτιώνουν τις γραμμές του ΟΑΣΑ. Jimkats (talk) 13:19, 13 March 2023 (UTC)

Call for participation in a task-based online experiment

Dear Jimkats,

I hope you are doing well,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I am working on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender model that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our model based on your previous edits.

Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published in a research venue.

The experiment should take no more than 15 minutes, and it will be held next week.

Library forms may have the diacritics or may lack the diacritics. So both forms are included to enable matching to other databases. --EncycloPetey (talk) 04:09, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
