Hi, I just saw your edit about ship class of USS Enterprise. Could you please read and comment Wikidata:Requests_for_comment/Adopt_Help:Classification_as_an_official_help_page ? This is related. TomT0m (talk) 13:12, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

@TomT0m: OK, checking that.---- LaddΩ chat ;) 13:14, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

Ship class

Ship class info fetched from wikidata by en:Template:Infobox ship characteristics has become broken. Shall I revert the changes that you made to that template to fetch ship class info or shall you fix the template?

comedy troupe (Q18510489)

Hi, could you please make sure that comedy troupe (Q18510489) gets a clear description in English and French, so that it's clear what it's supposed to represent? I still find the current state a little confusing, but can't really make sense of it myself. Cheers, Hoo man (talk) 01:28, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

@Hoo man: Done. Also added access to subclass tree on the talk page. Cheers ---- LaddΩ chat ;) 20:16, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

Q17321103

Hi Laddo, you created a new item, but I guess you were looking for Group portrait of the four brothers of Willem I, Prince of Orange: Jan (1536-1606), Hendrik (1550-74), Adolf (1540-68) and Lodewijk (1538-74), counts of Nassau (Q17321103). For anonymous works we use qualifiers, no need to create items like Wybrand de Geest (Q21577187). Multichill (talk) 18:21, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

@Multichill: Hi, regarding the duplication of items, it's actually Reinheitsgebot that created Q21546028 recently; I merely beefed up its attributes. I did not dare merge it to Group portrait of the four brothers of Willem I, Prince of Orange: Jan (1536-1606), Hendrik (1550-74), Adolf (1540-68) and Lodewijk (1538-74), counts of Nassau (Q17321103), since it represents a 185,5 cm x 144 cm full-color painting with portrait orientation, while the RDK institute picture shows a truncated black-and-white photography of a 186 x 144 painting with "landscape" orientation. Wondering whether there was a separate work copying the original, I left them separate. OK to merge if you are confident that they are the same.
Also, thanks for letting me know about workshop of (P1774), directly applicable indeed! I followed the example of studio of William Larkin (Q21557069), but since it is completely useless now, I will shortly merge Wybrand de Geest (Q21577187) into Wybrand de Geest (Q636727) to clean up. Cheers ---- LaddΩ chat ;) 21:45, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
Laddo, you're right. It was bot created. I know it's the same paiting because the inventory number and collection are the same. Thanks for merging. Multichill (talk) 08:00, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Your recent mergers

Your recent mergers of Category:Rowers at the 1976 Summer Olympics (Q7709300) and Category:Male rowers at the 1976 Summer Olympics (Q21710884), Category:Rowers at the 1980 Summer Olympics (Q8683405) and Category:Male rowers at the 1980 Summer Olympics (Q21710886), as well as Category:Rowers at the 1984 Summer Olympics (Q8683409) and Category:Male rowers at the 1984 Summer Olympics (Q21710887) are completely wrong. As long as frwiki has separate categories for male and female rowers, we need to separate these items. Here is some context at frwiki: fr:Projet:Sport/Café des sports#Gender-independent categorization of sports personalities. This is valid for all Olympic Games since 1976, when women’s rowing became an olympic sport. Please revert. —MisterSynergy (talk) 15:12, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

@MisterSynergy: My mistake, sorry, I reverted that. I guess my mind was confused by the English label "Male rowers..." and the link to the French category "Rameurs..." stating that another category grouped "Rameuses...". Anyhow, please note that User:Ivan_A._Krestinin/To_merge/frwiki#enwiki reports that there are 16 other WD items already linking en&fr such categories: "Q6309372, Q6383298, Q7709251, Q7709254, Q7709261, Q7709263, ..." (I did not merge those, as far as I recall); you are better fix those items as well otherwise that tool will keep suggesting to merge these same WD items. Cheers, and sorry again for the trouble. -- LaddΩ chat ;) 20:19, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
Okay thanks for restoring the correct situation. I spent a lot of time last weekend to get that fixed, so I was a bit upset that it appeared to be stable for only two days. The best would be to have those missing categories at frwiki as discussed over there, but they are somewhat reluctant for no reason to allow that. I’ll try to get the other pairs removed from Ivan’s list, thanks for pointing out! —MisterSynergy (talk) 20:51, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
