Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Merge

Hallo Regasterios,
When you merge items, please use the Merge.js gadget. It helps you nominating, gives the option to always keep the lower number (which is older, so preferable) and makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

Nominating deleted items

Hi Regasterios,

When you nominate an item that had its last entry deleted on a local wiki, like you did for the items deleted on the huwiki, you don't need to remove the label. The items will be deleted, along with the label, in one action. So the extra action of removing the label effectively gets wasted. - - (Cycn/talk) 08:53, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

Forrás?

Szia! Itt lecserélted a dátumot, és kitörölted a forrást. A Wikidata a Wikipédiához hasonlóan forrásokra épül (sőt, a Wikidata filozófiája, hogy nem is forrásokkal alátámasztott tényeket, hanem állításokat tárol, amik történetesen akár lehetnek hibásak is – persze az orosz Wikipédia nem olyan forrás, aminek az állítása megőrzésre méltó). Mivel gondolom, hogy nem voltál ott a születésnél, valamilyen forrásból származik az infó – honnan? – Tacsipacsi (talk) 10:32, 19 February 2020 (UTC)

@Tacsipacsi: lásd a szócikket és a vitalapját. Az orosz Wikipédia valóban nem forrás, ezért töröltem. Persze most eszembe jutott, hogy nem így kellett volna csinálni, hanem a 22-i dátumot elavultnak beállítani. Nem vagyok gyakorlott a WD-n, ezért csinálom olykor rosszul a beállításokat. --Regasterios (talk) 10:53, 19 February 2020 (UTC)

Szia! Bocsánat, elfelejtettem, hogy nem igazán tudsz angolul. (Bár lehet, hogy akkor is angolul írtam volna, mert a szerkesztési összefoglalót igyekszem mindig angolul, hogy minél többen megértsék.) Szóval azért vontam vissza a törlésedet, mert a g7.hu önmagában is egy „alkotás”, aminek lehet nyelve, így van értelme az önálló állításnak a minősítő hozzáadása után is. Az elem által reprezentált alkotás és a official website (P856) állítás által reprezentált weboldal koncepcionálisan két különböző dolog, még ha praktikusan nehéz is elválasztani egymástól a kettőt. (Egyébként elméletileg nem kizárt: például lehetne, hogy az amúgy csak magyarul publikáló híroldalnak van egy angol kezdőlapja is, ami nem áll többől egy bemutatkozásnál: ekkor a hírportál tisztán magyar, a weboldalt viszont kétnyelvűnek mondanám.) – Tacsipacsi (talk) 23:56, 25 September 2020 (UTC)

Call for participation in a task-based online experiment

Dear Regasterios,

I hope you are doing good,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender system that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our system based on your previous edits. Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published to a research venue.

The study will start in late January 2022 or early February 2022, and it should take no more than 30 minutes.
