Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Many of the items you created recently with OpenRefine do not contain any label. Please add as soon as possible the labels, otherwise the items will be deleted. --Pasleim (talk) 14:05, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
Need some help? edit
You seem to be getting started with OpenRefine and creating items like Bust of Bodhisattva (Q87904967). Please have a look at Wikidata:WikiProject_Visual_arts/Item_structure#Describing_individual_objects to see what fields you can add. The usage of author (P50) for art is incorrect by the way. It should only be used for written works. Use creator (P170) instead. Do you happen to know the uploader of the image? All the uploads are incorrectly licensed. That needs to be fixed or all will be deleted. That would be a shame. Multichill (talk) 18:18, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Multichill, Thank you for the ping. I indeed know the uploader. I will have the corrections made by tomorrow. Additionally, thank you for pointing out the mistake. I am having some complications indeed. For instance I am trying to add some new fields using the openrefine. But it seems this would have to be done manually. Also, can you guide me what to write for 12th century AD. It seems to not pick up the field of inception. Thank you Wikilover90 (talk) 18:45, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
- It looks like you have to enter it as "12. century BCE". That took me several tries to figure that out! I switched to location. That's a more common way of doing it here. Multichill (talk) 19:42, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
- Multichill Thank you!! Huge help. Can we put such values (12. century BCE) under inception? Also does this Bust of Bodhisattva (Q87904967) look better? I am working with my team of new photographers who uploaded those images to correct the licenses in the meantime. Thank you so very much for your time and support!!!
