Bloķēti lietotāji nevar labot lapas, pārvietot lapas un veikt citas darbības, ko ļautu papildu tiesību piešķiršana. Esot bloķēti, sistēmas operatori vai citi lietotāji ar pieeju bloķēšanas un atbloķēšanas saskarnei nevar ne bloķēt, ne atbloķēt citus (izņemot sevi).
Blocked users can still view and edit their watchlists, and can still edit their own user talk page and/or send e-mails using Special:EmailUser (registered accounts only) unless specifically disallowed. Administrators and stewards can block users (unregistered or logged in).
