Discussion
I think has characteristic (P1552) is good enough for this use case. ChristianKl (talk) 12:46, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose @ChristianKl, M11rtinb: This is a specific typing property. We’re actually discussing types and subtypes of cartridge (Q37144) that should be handled using instance of (P31) and subclass of (P279) (see Help:BMP and Help:Classification). rimless (Q29842379), rimmed (Q29842212), semi-rimmed (Q29842410), rebated rim (Q29842473), belted (Q29842449), grooveless (Q29842430) are all subclasses of munitions (not instances) To express that munitions can be rimmed, semi-rimmed or rimless, you could use one statement like - this means «a cartridge (Q37144)      can be either rimmed, semi rimmed or unrimmed, but nether remmed and unrimmed (or rimmed and semi rimmed or …) . And maybe or depending if a rim can be both or not.author  TomT0m / talk page 12:14, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
I've tried to modify cartridge (Q37144) based on your idea. Please check if it was done correctly. --08:21, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
@TomT0m: But how could this be implemented in a Wikipedia infobox? If a cartridge is both an instance of rifle cartridge (Q7333267) and rimmed (Q29842212), how could I specify that I only want the value that describes the type of rim? --M11rtinb (talk) 18:12, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
