Motivation
A lot of products were created and commercialized in different dates. Computer, for example, was created in 19th century and first commercialized in 20th century. The creation date should be indicated by inception (P571), while currently there isn't (as far as I know) a property for the commercialization date. This property can have "country" as qualifier if the item was commercialized in different dates in different countries. Malore (talk) 12:05, 16 April 2018 (UTC)

- Comment - On first reading, I thought this was referring to an item and not a date (ie. Velcro was "commercialized from" the hook and loop fastener (Q15411420)). So perhaps a better label would be "date of commercialization" to make it parallel to a property like date of official opening (P1619)? -- Fuzheado (talk) 12:47, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
