This translation dictionary was first made on paper by Francis Favereau (Q3081429), it's a modern and frequently use reference for Breton.

It's online at multiple adresses

Here are my question, this dictionary is bilingual and the online dictionary are simple php website, the language is in the parameter. That means, the examples of use could be:

or

And similarly:

or

In the first case, the property would only be used on Lexemes in Breton (where it has the most value anyway) and in the second case, it could also be used on Lexemes in French. Also note that in the first case, it would be more resilient if the website changes (see how it's already the same for both website). I would prefer the first one but I'm open to remark and suggestions.

What do you think ?

One week and some thinking later, let's go with the first solution. Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 11:27, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  •   Support A bit late, but I support the first solution. It's proper (atomic value, no mix of several languages) and works with several websites. If we want to link French lexemes, there should be another property; why not starting another proposal immediately?. — Envlh (talk) 12:27, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Envlh: I was wondering that actually, is there really a value from the French side? and will I have time to take care of it? (spoiler: probably not). But quite logically, indeed with option one it would make sense to create a property for the French entries. Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 15:40, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
These IDs are two different ways to access the data and it seems useful to have them (you may want to go from French to Breton, not only the other direction). Given their format, it seems that my bot could easily take care of them, both in Breton and in French. — Envlh (talk) 19:14, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
