Motivation edit
Motivation for importing items for ISO 639-3 Change Requests: The request documents provide useful background information about languages, especially for languages where little documentation is available. Also, when change requests get denied, the Registration Authority’s verdict gives an explanation; these can be useful as references for claims in Wikidata. — Motivation for the new property: To model the ID of change requests more formally than just in the item name. — Sascha (talk) 13:30, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

- @Sascha: I tried to create this property but an automatic check failed: example value "2008-040" does not match regular expression
2\d{3}-\d{3} (earliest ID is 2006-001)
.. Please fix your proposal and your property will be created shortly. This is an automated message but do not hesitate to ping me if you need any help. − Pintoch (talk) 18:31, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Pintoch: Done, fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience, I didn’t know that a script is creating properties. — Sascha (talk) 18:53, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
