Motivation edit

Motivation for importing items for ISO 639-3 Change Requests: The request documents provide useful background information about languages, especially for languages where little documentation is available. Also, when change requests get denied, the Registration Authority’s verdict gives an explanation; these can be useful as references for claims in Wikidata. — Motivation for the new property: To model the ID of change requests more formally than just in the item name. — Sascha (talk) 13:30, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
