Motivation

Many companies have pages on LinkedIn. These are currently under-represented in Wikidata, and those we have are held using website account on (P553). A discrete property will make it easier to use constraints, tracking, and to do bulk uploads using tools like Mix'n'Match.

A small discussion held recently on Project Chat found no favour for storing full URLs, as we must do for P2035 (P2035). Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 11:43, 23 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  Support But I don't understand why we can't have an external-id property for P2035 (P2035). --Entbert (talk) 13:28, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
