Motivation

Many manga and anime series items use end time (P582) to actually refer to publication date (P577) of the item's last chapter (Q43180447)/last episode (Q43178228), but end time (P582) is ambiguous, so I've converted those claims to publication date (P577) with applies to part, aspect, or form (P518):last chapter (Q43180447)/last episode (Q43178228) as qualifier (see Minami-ke (Q35191609) for example).

I later found that the claim may be regarded as the end time of the first publication, as we may thought of the item as if it take a long time to finish the first publication (of the whole item), so the claim can also be end time (P582) with a qualifier of (P642):publication date (Q1361758) (also see Minami-ke (Q35191609) for example).

It will be better to have a single dedicated property to replace the above two alternatives of equivalent property-qualifier pairs.

This issue is also discussed in this RFC.

Discussion

Please have one Property proposal template for each property you propose and don't mix two properties into one. Or whatever else is meant by the proposed name. ChristianKl () 00:43, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

They are just aliases of the same property --Ans (talk) 18:32, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Ans: Thee proposal is unclear to me (but I am not fimiliar with manga). Do you still want this property? If so, please gather more support. Otherwise, you can use |status=withdrawn in the proposal template. − Pintoch (talk) 15:33, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
