I am admin on couple wikis, I take care mostly about technical stuff (which often requires some additional rights) there, which is what I'd like to do here as well. I also speak or understand some languages which I haven't noticed at people who request rights above me, so that might be helpful for spotting vandalism in such languages too.

- User appears to be referring to Czech and Slovak in his nomination statement Sven Manguard Wha? 22:15, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, and some other Slavic languages, since they are quite close to each other and typical bad words are known...
— Danny B. 11:49, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply] - I fail to see what relevance a person's permissions on other projects have in determining their suitability for adminship here, and as such applaud the candidate for focussing on what he can do rather than what rights he has collected elsewhere. Support, trusted and potentially helpful admin. Ajraddatz (talk) 04:19, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks for the note. So do I... ;-) But I realized that lots of people judge according to or request experiences elsewhere. Rather than to write boring speach I'm open to concrete questions, that seems more useful to me.
— Danny B. 11:49, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]- Per IRC, I might have misread Sven's comment so ignore me :P - Also to clarify, I support this candidate for the reasons stated above. Ajraddatz (talk) 13:46, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
