Task/s: Import some data of administrative divisions in China.

Function details: We already have some data (most of them were extracted from pages on www.stats.gov.cn) stored as templates on zhwiki. I'm planning to move them to Wikidata, and with Wikidata it'll be easier to add more data in a structured way. --Liangent (talk) 05:38, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I don't have a ready-to-run codebase yet because there's still something missing which I want. For example, coordinates, names (as a property, see my comments in WD:PC), and some other property similar to Property:P442 （going to propose it soon). Liangent made some test edits by his/her bot Special:Contributions/Liangent-bot. but (s)he says multilingual text datatype isn't available and should wait for official name property. --GZWDer (talk) 06:00, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm using source = imported from Chinese Wikipedia instead of Q1509446 now because there were manual edits on original data on Wikipedia... For the same reason, "as of" can't be determined properly. These qualifiers may be used in any direct imports from Q1509446 in the future. In a second pass I'll add Property:P132 and that "name" property. The first property is there because I haven't sorted out all possible values for it (created as Wikidata items, and listed in User:Liangent-bot/prcadmin. Your test edits between 09:20 and 09:30 on June 14 seem correct. I have no formal knowledge on Chinese subdivisions and the only anomaly I saw was Q11065282. Was P150 done correctly? If so, then I saw no other issues myself. Regards, — Moe Epsilon 21:29, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
