Help with translation
Hi, I'm confused with the sentence "There is currently no reprieve system in place for inactive administrators other than filing a new permissions request" (found here). I'm not sure the verb "to reprieve" is the best choice; maybe it's a typo and the author meant "retrieve"? What do you think? I'm currently translating some of the pages into Catalan and otherwise I find no sense to the sentence. Thanks for your comments.--Quico (talk) 06:59, 1 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Qllach: In this case indeed reprieve is meant. The sentence wants to tell you that there are no exemptions to that policy. Regardless what reason you have for your inactivity, you are going to be removed from the admin group in case you do not meet the activity requirements outlined there, anymore.
