IDs seem to have been changed edit

Looks like FINA has changed the format of these IDs. To get to Michael Phelps you now need to use 1001621/michael-phelps. Does this mean we have to update all the ~900 uses of the property? Belteshassar (talk) 21:56, 10 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

The pages which use the alpha IDs in this property are available at admin.fina.org, such as https://admin.fina.org/athletes/michael-phelps. The pages which use the new numeric IDs are available at www.fina.org, such as https://www.fina.org/athletes/1001621/-. If a new property is created for that, it could use https://www.fina.org/athletes/$1/- as the formattter URL. -- Zyxw (talk) 21:59, 7 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Nice find! Looks like admin.fina.org only works for a recent athletes, or? The reason I stumbled onto this property was I was writing about Bernt Zarnowiecki (Q4894610) and Anita Zarnowiecki (Q4765660) on svwiki. Both of them have pages on the new scheme. I don’t usually edit about sports, so I may leave the property proposal for someone more iterested to author. Belteshassar (talk) 09:26, 8 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
