P31 or P279

edit

Hi again Kolja21,

I'm not sure, what would be best:

or

⟨ paral (Q1754546)      ⟩ subclass of (P279)   ⟨ dual (Q110022)      ⟩

I didn't know about paral before today and I've got a hard times to find references. The second seems a bit better but you seems to know more than me about that concept ;)

@VIGNERON: Numerus is correct. Some linguists might consider paral as a subclass of dual but this is POV. With numerus we are safe. Here is a list of numeri we can use: de:Vorlage:Navigationsleiste Numerus. --Kolja21 (talk) 17:23, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Kolja21: ok, I'll trust you. Do you have any references? Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 17:28, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
For the use of "Paral" (German) yes, but not for the claim that paral is a subclass of dual. I created Lexeme:L2383. --Kolja21 (talk) 18:30, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
@VIGNERON: This is a helpful quote by Wolfgang Krause: "Das Tocharische kennt fünf Numeri, nämlich Singular, Paral, Dual, Plural und Plurativ" [Plurativ aka Distributiv]. Five numeri not four + one subclass. I've added the quote to the Lexeme. --Kolja21 (talk) 18:50, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Kolja21: thank you, this quote is indeed enlightening. Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 19:05, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
