Are you sure that all the people are football players (I hope I translated it right)? There were at least a lot of badminton players among them (Godwin Olofua or Greg Orobosa Okuonghae for instance). --Florentyna (talk) 20:23, 28 November 2021 (UTC)

Thank @Florentyna for your contribution to the sum of human knowledge and also for reaching our to me..

I am so shocked to know that the list that I imported contained badminton players because I copied the list from the spaql query that I ran on Nigerian Football players.

Perhaps, some of these players were wrongly classified by the original creator.

I will be very glad to clear these errors if you could put me through them.

Thank you for contributing to Wikidata. I see that you recently created an item Q117749884 that does not clearly indicate its notability. The Wikidata project only accepts items that meet its notability criteria, and your item is therefore likely to be deleted soon. In brief, items must have an associated Wikipedia article, must be needed for statements on another notable item, or must have both identifiers and serious sources. For the last case, a good indication of notability would be multiple articles about the subject in independent publications like newspapers or magazines. Hi@Bovlb, thank you for your observation and continuous contribution to improving Wikidata. Please note that we're currently working on a Nigeria Language Oral History documentation project aimed at producing freely licensed audiovisual documentaries of the under-represented Nigeria's indigenous languages where native speakers of these languages narrate their stories and using the content to improve existing Wikipedia pages of the languages and donate them for research purposes. Each audiovisual describes an indigenous language in terms of history, culture, tradition, etc.. We understand that language, which is the main component of this work, is a notable subject, and many of them have an existing Wikipedia page in this case ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abi,_Cross_River) and Wikidata (Q3510527). Also, we understand that each audiovisual documentary contains unique properties relevant to Wikidata instead of merging the audiovisual documentary information with each indigenous language on Wikidata. We have considered creating a Wiki data item for each documentary to describe the metadata related to each work.

Also, I have created a URL link to substantiate the notability of the subject referred to in the documentary. We will be glad to hear from you if there is a better way to do this. Cheers.
