New properties edit

Dear PiRSquared17, I'm sorry to disturb you, but I'm confused with the discussion of the Properties. I'd like to add new properties for astronomical object, but I can't underestand if I need to propose them before in this discussion or I can try to create some of them? For the w:Equatorial coordinate system (i.e. w:Right ascension and w:Declination), I need a new Data model (the two coordinates in hours and degrees and the epoch): how can I propose or create it? Thank you very much for your answer! --Paperoastro (talk) 22:10, 4 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hey. I'm afraid we can't support value properties yet (just item properties). You should suggest them on the Wikidata:Property proposal page, but we won't be able to create them until later. James F. (talk) 22:34, 4 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much for your answer! Now it all more clear! --Paperoastro (talk) 09:27, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Re:Source edit

Hi PiRSquared,
I don't have a source for that information; I merely assumed that people whom we describe as "Italian" are native speakers of the "Italian" language. As far as I understand the respective English Wikipedia article, a distinctive Italian language has existed since the 10th century, in various dialects in what is now Italy; on the other hand, the said article mentions that when Italy was unified in 1861, "only 2.5% Italy’s population could speak the Italian standardized language properly", so I am not really sure what should be done here. If you decide to delete this information from the article, I will not oppose that. Thanks, odder (talk) 14:15, 2 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is starting to get annoying. πr2 (tc) 02:35, 20 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
Haha well take it as a good sign that people don't want you to go   though Wikimedia projects tend to be time-consuming, and if you have to prioritize, I understand. --Rschen7754 02:40, 20 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
