Merging items edit

Hallo Tommes,
When you (want to) merge items, you may want to use the merge.js gadget from help page about merging. It helps with merging and removes the need to file a request on Wikidata:Requests for deletions.

TdF/TdFF edit

Don't do that until module is updated! Otherwise you causes many errors in all Wikis using module - for example adding Q1318941 in P31 causes an error in Calendar part of module (used for example in pl.wiki: pl:UCI Women’s World Tour 2022 which after your edit was displaying "wyścig wieloetapowy" (Polish name for Q1318941) instead of a name of race. Also removing a class from P31 in that moment causes errors both in race infoboxes and calendars. Just wait until Psemdel will finish all his edits and don't rush things 99kerob (talk) 16:31, 15 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please stop deleting edit

Please stop what you are doing and do some meaningful edits, instead of deleting. --Hejsa (talk) 20:39, 15 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

User:Hejsa, as much as I am aware, neither you nor User:Hjart gave helpful information why you insist on having the year of birth in the description. “you may not understand the usefullnes of this, but please leave it alone” and “I see no vandalism - please take a break now and leave the description alone” as well as the initial comment in this section probably do not help much, but this is everything that was told yet. Please take time and elaborate your position if you are in conflict with other users. —MisterSynergy (talk) 20:45, 15 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@MisterSynergyI've tried my best to explain it in User talk:Hjart#<person>,_born_1967. Unufortunately it appears to have been to not much avail though. Hjart (talk) 20:54, 15 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Okay thanks, I have not seen this until now. —MisterSynergy (talk) 21:02, 15 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please stop! edit

If you want to change normal practice, discuss it first. Don't destroy many articles across the Wiki with long lists. Vandcykel (talk) 07:44, 16 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

You dont understand? See administrators board for discussion. AND if it is true what you say, show where these data might "destroy many articles across the Wiki with long lists". --Tommes (talk) 07:50, 16 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
No race has the full standings and it has never been used. Many modules on many different Wiki articles use Wikidata, and the list becomes far too long. So therefore. Take that into account! See the list of all TdF articles.  – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vandcykel (talk • contribs).
I will not call you a liar, because you don't know. But there is and in future the most important races and even smaller ones will be completed here. There is no reason for a limit. Show the articles you complain about. --Tommes (talk) 07:59, 16 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
