Ukrainian descriptions edit

Hi,

I have noticed that you replaced Ukrainian descriptions in Cyrillic alphabet with Latin alphabet, like you did in Ukraine (Q212). Could you please not do that, as Ukrainian has Cyrillic as a default alphabet, with Latin alphabet very narrowly used by only a bunch of amateurs (see Ukrainian Latin alphabet (Q2322215)). "TWICE" (Q20645861) edit

Hello, I'm Scalvo98. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Q20645861 because it didn't appear constructive. Feel free to use the sandbox for test edits. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! --Scalvo98 (talk) 21:39, 26 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Would you like to contribute to a WikiProject Covid-19 ? edit

Hello,

I saw that you contributed to the item COVID-19 pandemic by country and territory (Q83741704) and I was wondering if you would be interested in helping to create a Wikidata WikiProject Covid-19. By the other discussions in your talk page, I believe this could be a way to gracefully improve the items on the topic.

The goals would be initially (of course, they can be changed):

  • create a data model for instances of disease outbreak (Q3241045).
  • monitor the quality of the pages about national outbreaks listed in COVID-19 pandemic by country and territory (Q83741704).
  • curate the wikidata items relevant for describing the outbreaks and the virus itself.
  • curate and improve the information on Wikidata about scientific articles regarding the coronavirus (similar to the Wikidata:WikiProject_Zika_Corpus).
  • think and develop ways to process these items to improve access to information (for example, via automated articles in languages that currently do not have pages about country-specific outbreaks).

Would you like to participate in this effort? I am trying to gather the Wikidata editors actively envolved in the topic.I believe that if we act together, we can have a shot at aiding the global effort in containing the pandemic. Thanks! TiagoLubiana (talk) 00:18, 16 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Conflation edit

Hello. Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (Q3379049) is a hydroelectric power station (Q15911738). Kakhovka Dam (Q119210467) is a dam (Q12323). Please do not mix these up. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:17, 12 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Moving articles edit

Hey, stop immediately your article moves across language versions. Please leave the naming decisions to the communities of those language versions and don't impose your ideas to them... Thank you ̴̴̴̃ Mai-Sachme (talk) 16:01, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

ːI reverted your edits now and will continue to do so, unless you start discussing your planned page moves with local language communities beforehand. Cheers, Mai-Sachme (talk) 16:19, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Mai-Sachme: The is a new account called OverlordOdin (talkcontribslogs). Are you this, Yeagvr? Consensus is reached by words, not by solitary actions.--U. M. Owen (talk) 19:50, 31 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
@U. M. Owen No, I am not. I never used sockpuppets, they are not allowed, especially for this purposes. A check user may check its IP address to confirm it is not me. Yeagvr (talk) 19:59, 31 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Not sure what this is about, but I don't have any connection to Yeagvr. If any of my edits were incorrectly made, please let me know as I don't want to make the same kind of error in the future. Thanks! - Odin (talk) 20:23, 31 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
