Delphi (Q487378)/Delphi (Q4037189)

Both items concern to Delphi (programming language). Some projects moved the lemma to Embarcadero Delphi, other projects didn't. I could merge the items by myself but I don't know which item should be preferred. -- Juetho (talk) 13:38, 17 February 2016 (UTC)

These look to be treated separately at two wikis (ruWP and another) so they cannot be merged. Looks like some specialist knowledge to understand the difference, so if you think that one is the primary/generic, then move the links to that item.  — billinghurst sDrewth 05:40, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
I prefer Delphi (Q487378): This item mentions alternative names. Most Wikipedia articles link to this item. Embarcadero is Delphi's developer since 2008. It's no problem to move 3 WP articles and 7 WB books from Delphi (Q4037189) to Delphi (Q487378). -- Juetho (talk) 09:12, 12 March 2016 (UTC)

  • 6 Wikibooks moved to Delphi (Q487378).
  • fr-Wikibook moved to fr-Wikiversity in Delphi (Q487378).
  • 3 Wikipedia links unchanged: be_x_old and ru have 2 separate articles; I'm not able to understand the differences. kk has 1 article; I'm not able to decide whether there may be any problem to change the Wikidata item.

Finally done:

The best way would be to merge the articles in w:ru resp. w:be-x-old and then to delete the links in Q4037189. Provisionally, I added Property:P1889. At the time, the conflict can be declared as resolved. -- Juetho (talk) 10:08, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
