Motivation edit
This is a new database integrating the contents of several well recognized identifiers for premodern texts in Greek and Latin: Clavis Patrum Graecorum (CPG), Clavis Patrum Latinorum (CPL), Bibliotheca Hagiographica Graeca (BHG), Bibliotheca Hagiographica Latina (BHL), Clavis Apocryphorum Veteris Testamenti (CAVT), and Clavis Apocryphorum Novi Testamenti (CANT). Its identifiers do not appear in literature and are not designed to do so, but nonetheless this is the most complete version of these resources available online.
