- Motivation
Joint initiative of The Royal British Legion (Q1621811) and Commonwealth War Graves Commission (Q1117074) to create a commemorative record of every individual Commonwealth soldier who died in WWI. Many of these individuals meet our notability criteria; for example almost a thousand are listed under en:Category:British military personnel killed in World War I (it is not intended to import all records). The site gives biographical details including the person's military unit, service number, place of death, and memorials on which the person is commemorated. - Discussion
- Support Seems reasonable. Is there a way to connect easily between this and CWGC person ID (P1908)? Andrew Gray (talk) 12:36, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Andrew Gray: There doesn't seem to be (though with the proposed property, WIkdata will of course serve that function!). Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 13:17, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
