Discussion
edit- Oppose None of the examples given represents the accompanying entity; and we don't need to record the ID of every individual post made by an entity. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 13:57, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

- @Pigsonthewing: "we don't need to record the ID of every individual post made by an entity" but it ratcher not reffers for biographies. Eurohunter (talk) 14:54, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose per Andy as regards the current proposed use of this property. If we are going to make comparisons to the newly created tweet ID property, then this proposal should have 1) a formatter URL that has no dependence on the Facebook username of a specific person or organization and 2) examples similar to those on the proposal for the tweet ID property. - Looks I added wromg examples. I schould add works instead of people. The goal is to make this property similar to Twitter ID. Eurohunter (talk) 18:00, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Eurohunter: Can you try to adjust the URLs in the links you gave so that, for example, they differ exclusively in their post ID (perhaps by converting them so that "Basshunter.se/posts", "linkinpark/photos", etc. do not appear in them)? I think that would help this proposal quite a bit. Mahir256 (talk) 17:23, 21 October 2018 (UTC)

- Support Potentially useful for primary sources, and it's not inconceivable that items could be created for Facebook posts themselves if they're used as sources (given that posts would be considered Wikidata-notable if used on other items). @Mahir256, Pigsonthewing, Eurohunter: I have added a formatter URL to the proposal template; it appears to work for all the examples. - @Jc86035 (1): Thanks for that. I've used the tweet ID property directly as a reference in some places, rather than making items for each tweet individually, and I'm sure this property could work the same way. Mahir256 (talk) 17:35, 21 October 2018 (UTC)

- Not done incomplete proposal (sample doesn't match description), no consensus. --- Jura 21:03, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
