Motivation

GENUKI provides a hierarchical place-based set of pages for localities in the British Isles, containing extensive links to information, data, and resources about the place of potential interest to genealogists, organised under a multitude of standard headings. As well as information relating to traditional counties, parishes, and settlements in the UK and Ireland, the site also contains extensive data about churches.
