Motivation

The Museum Universe Data File is an authority file published by the United States w:Institute of Museum and Library Services, a US federal agency, which lists all known US museums, based on public records and administrative data. - Observationally, those both appear to be true for all IDs so far, but I am not certain if that is a rule that is being followed for future entries as well.
