Norway we have many lakes/waters and because of that many of them have the same name for example Langvannet or derivates og that name based on local dialect is used on minimum 26 different lakes because of that the Norwegian agency responsible for waterways and energy production have made each lake have a number so it can be identified correctly i different databases without using geographic location example for example Q11219655 has the number 3172 while another water with the excact same name in the same municipiality has the number 3132 they (diskusjon) 06:23, 17 February 2018 (UTC) Moved here by Pmt (talk) 00:02, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Andber08. There are multiple things that you need to improve to get this property created. As David pointed out, you need to provide an example in the proposal template (in the |example=) parameter. As you can see this field currently displays a big "MISSING" in red, which indicates an issue. You should also fill other fields, such as |allowed values= and |formatter URL=. You can take inspiration from Wikidata:Property_proposal/GEPRIS_organization_ID or any other proposal about an external id to understand better what these fields are supposed to contain. − Pintoch (talk) 17:17, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nasjonalt løpenummer Alle innsjøene større enn 2500 m²/2,5 dekar har fått tildelt et unikt nasjonalt løpenummer i NVEs Innsjødatabase. Databasen er etablert ved hjelp av Kartverket sitt digitale kartverk N50 Kartdata. Løpenumrene sikrer riktig lagring, systematisering og gjenfinning av vannfaglig informasjon, samt riktig kobling til Kartverkets digitale kartprodukter.

Innsjødatabasen er blant annet tilgjengelig i Kartkatalog fra NVE og NVE Atlas under temaet Innsjødata.

Innsjødatabasen er også tilgjengelig på WMS-format (Web Map Service), se NVEs WMS-oversikt eller den nasjonale kartportalen Geonorge.no som er etablert av Norge digitalt. Andber08 (talk) 21:11, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

- Yeah, I browsed around on the site trying to find a URL that would work as a formatter, but there was nothing obvious at all the way it is structured. Somebody more familiar with it needs to sort that out - if it's even possible! ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:13, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Comment I have also tried to find an URL but have found nothing. At the time being the only way to find the number is by searching for the name of the lake or clicking at the interactive map found at https://temakart.nve.no/link/?link=innsjodatabase. Pmt (talk) 18:50, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
