I know WD has rules and serves as "the card catalog" for WP, therefore cannot act until WP does. But there are instances that clearly show the weaknesses in the system as a whole. If WD is the connecting unit between all WMF projects, we should have some sort of authority or at least a hotline to fast track certain cross wiki cases. WD waiting for months before some of these projects clear up a "speedy delete"... not cool. Quakewoody (talk) 20:58, 6 January 2021 (UTC)

Quakewoody: I completely agree with you. But it may be considered wrong to interfer on other wikis. We could also "prohibit" certain pages to have sitelinks, so we could avoid situations like this. Esteban16 (talk) 16:23, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

I am not saying interfere, nor that WD should be the be all end all of WMF. But, all things come through us as the "central hub". We can see that Person X created Subject Y on 7 projects because the 7 projects are all linked to the 1 WD item. We (meaning WD admin, not you, not myself) should be able to do more than "adhere to process" in hopes that at some point somewhere down the line maybe one of these lesser-patrolled projects finds a 3 month old speedy delete tag and finally gets rid of the junk that the other 6 got rid of in 2 minutes.
