Task/s: Hello I want to use Wikidata:Tools#Wikidata_useful to add properties to items based on English Wikipedia categories, I don't want to spam the RC, so I want a Bot-flag. I would do a category + its subcategories and write them and what I added down.--CENNOXX (talk) 00:30, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- At how many epm do you plan to edit? --Ricordisamoa 06:54, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- About 80, and under 100.--CENNOXX (talk) 12:49, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
About 80 edits per minute (epm)? Even if the bot is able to load that many pages in one minute, that would be way too fast. Hazard-SJ ✈ 02:40, 10 April 2013 (UTC)Maybe we should keep a maximum of 60 epm for now? Hazard-SJ ✈ 03:53, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]- Wikidata doesn't have any set speed, it's worth reading Wikidata_talk:Bots#Bot_speed for a good threshold. Legoktm (talk) 02:45, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks for that. Hazard-SJ ✈ 03:53, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Automated or supervised?--Makecat (talk) 04:39, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- It's automated, but I choose the properties to set, based on the duplicateStatements-part of the wikidata useful.js-script.--CENNOXX (talk) 12:30, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Support I supported the use of a bot with this script already once and the script seems to work fine. Regards, — Moe Epsilon 18:05, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
