Task/s: import properties for tennis players from en/fr/de-Wikipedia
Function details: The bot will import values primarily for the properties WTA player ID (P597) and ITF player ID before 2020 (archived) (P599) from the source wikis. In addition, it will add claims for the following properties unless they are set: P107 (P107) = "person", occupation (P106) = "tennis player", sex or gender (P21), country of citizenship (P27), ATP player ID (P536). It won't touch any already existing data. It will append "imported from Wikimedia project (P143) = en/fr/de-wiki" as a source to each statement it creates. I've already collected the data in a local database and checked it for correctness, so the bot doesn't need to extract it from the source wikis first, but simply creates the corresponding claims on Wikidata. It will affect up to 5,132 items, all tennis players. --Kompakt (talk) 09:09, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- I would like to suggest that it also sets instance of (P31) = "person". (P107 is not enouugh as its values cover much more than merely persons). Byrial (talk) 18:35, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
