Problem??

Wikidata:List of properties/all!!! There seems to be a problem with this page or is it just me???--Vyom25 (talk) 14:54, 19 May 2013 (UTC)

It works fine here (or it seems...)--Qllach (talk) 18:02, 19 May 2013 (UTC)
In this page from Music section onwards all I see is <Script error> (in red color) in title, description and Example column.--Vyom25 (talk) 05:38, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
The script error is not related to the extension AFAIK, but there seem to be some separate error, most likely unrelated. I'll look into it when I get the chance.  Hazard-SJ  ✈  05:52, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
Okay then what's with this script error messages??? Should I provide you a screen shot?--Vyom25 (talk) 05:57, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
Afaik it is a problem with many seperate calls to the database. The label of each property is querried from the database. There are too many of them, so the last ones get a timeout error and can not be displayed correctly. --Giftzwerg 88 (talk) 15:37, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
So does it happen with everyone or otherwise and how do we solve it? Can we solve it by splitting the list?--Vyom25 (talk) 17:37, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
I wonder if we can solve the problem with a bot. The bot compares the properties and the list or properties and updates the list if a property is deleted or changed or it creates a logfile with the differences for a manual update.--Giftzwerg 88 (talk) 15:11, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Q13407144

Has foreign text as English denomination and description, see Talk:Q13407144. --Purodha Blissenbach Discussion  17:10, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello, this has been fixed. However, for future reference, this page is for translations via the Translate extension, so things like this would be more appropriate at WD:PC. Thanks.  Hazard-SJ  ✈  03:21, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Datatype translation?

I would like to have Catalan translation for datatype "Time" modified. Now it is "Hora" and should be "Data" (English "Date") because it is used in properties where a date (i.e. June 12th, 2013) and not necessarily a time (i.e. 20:42) is required, such as P571 or P569. I guess English word "Time" is more vague but in Catalan, in no case "Hora" can be applied to a date, and anyway Catalan "Data" can contain a specific hour as well. However I haven't been able to find a way to modify it, I guess it is reserved for administrators. Could anybody please change it for me? Thanks in advance! --Quico (talk) 18:53, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Thanks!--Quico (talk) 20:00, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Localizing data format

As far as I know, most European languages don't use the data format "month-day-year" but "day-month-year" instead. However, translated dates show the former and not the latter as it would be desirable. I guess there are maybe software restrictions, otherwise can this be fixed? Since this is a multilingual project, localization, and not just translation, should be a must whenever possible. Thanks in advance! --Quico (talk) 11:31, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

See Bugzilla:48962. --Stryn (talk) 11:34, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the info. --Quico (talk) 12:02, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

As new parameters have been added to the Template:Roaditem, I have redistributed the subpages for easier editing. The pages Wikidata:Roads task force/Germany and Wikidata:Roads task force/Germany/Bundesstraße must therefore be re-marked. Thanks. --Labant (talk) 14:41, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
